Very knowledgeable and FANTASTIC with kids!! Also a plus...the shop is adorable!
This eye shop is great love that it's on Main Street st. Charles. When you walk in the shoppe you get this homey, neighborhood welcoming vibe. I felt at ease when I came in with my 3 small children. This was our first eye appointment and my 5 year old was excited but nervous. Dr. Julie was absolutely wonderful. She took great care and was extremely patient and diligent in her exam. Dr. Julie works in every capacity in this office. She is the admin, Dr. and insurance liason. If you have any severe eye issues, this is not the place for you. Our son has a strong prescription and the "lab" always took longer, had to confirm his prescription, needed his glasses to line his bifocal for 3 weeks, etc. When I called 1, of the many times, on a Tuesday afternoon, Dr. Julie told me that she hadn't picked up the UPS delivery from Monday. I love coming here- the selection of frames is superior to anywhere else, the office is warm and inviting, and Dr. Julie is knowledgeable and friendly. She is also very good with giving kids exams. My shy 4-year old opened up to her right away. Highly recommended!!
I highly recommend The Eye Shoppe! The staff, patient care, and customer service is some of the best I've ever seen!
Had a great experience with a contact lens exam. Very throughly with my options.
Finally a place that has options for glasses that actually fit me! At previous optometrist's offices, I was doing good to have more than 2 frames look good on and fit my face. I can't walk into The Eye Shoppe without having a dozen or more pairs that I like and look great! The doctor and optician are so friendly and willing to lend extra eyes and opinion should you have difficulty choosing between frames. You couldn't ask for better.
