Dr Paydar lacks knowledge and that lack of knowledge was apparent last year when he messed up my cataract procedure. I’ve had to see 3 other specialists and needed a retina procedure because when all else failed, he decides to do an irreversible YAG procedure. I haven’t heard from him in a year but he’ll be hearing from me.
I was long overdue for an eye exam. Dr Paydar has been a trusted provider for more than a decade, but is now focusing on eye surgery. So, I saw the new guy. Dr Miller was very helpful, explaining what he found inside my old eyes. I can recommend Dr Miller.
Had an emergency and they got me right in. Staff was very friendly and could not be more pleased with the Dr. care.
My life has been adversely affected by this Doctor and I think that it would be important for this story to be told, so that others can weigh the risks of using Dr. Paydar. He's a very nice fellow, so it's easy to be swayed into considering him a great resource for eye information. In reality, however, it's not a good idea. I don't believe that Dr. Paydar keeps up with the literature. He may be fine to look into your eyes and provide you with a prescription.
