Local news, school, church, etc, I now live in Minnesota and have many times tried to subscribe to your digital service. It won't take my subscription though I have the same information. I lived in Thomasha home 40 years, then at the Mansions for seven years under the name of Margaret Louise Fancher or William H Fancher. Before that with my parents, Floyd Cleveland. you can see I have been a customer for a long time. I recently saw where you could get a one year subscription for 39.99. I would like to do that. I recommend the Examiner. We take it to be more informed with our city's news and to support the paper. I still believe among all the electronic data we can have the local newspaper is still a viable piece of the community.
Your subscription based business model will fail. Not only does it hamstring the advertising department, but there is plenty of free news out there. I deleted my shortcut to your site once I was locked out and required to purchase a subscription. Unless you change your business model, you will soon become a novelty.
I have read it since I could read and is a tradition in our family
We can not get reliable and timely home delivery. Never know what time paper will arrive. Customer service does not care only says they can’t keep carriers because it is a poor paying job. Sad to see this happen to the local paper but appears they are on their last leg.
It’s a good newspaper for the suburban area!
Quit charging 3$ for Friday papers
Great local paper! Better than the Star these days.
Home delivery of local paper with the published court notices. Great sports & human interest articles. My favorite writer is Bill Althaus, especially for his coverage of the KC Mavericks.
The Examiner has a 4.1 star rating with 147 reviews.
The Examiner is closed now. It will open at 9:00 a.m.
