My first time, I took friends with me. The food was fair overpriced, but I understand you're paying for the atmosphere to a certain extent. I had the beef stroganoff 4 measley pieces of meat, plenty of Egg Noodles and sauce. The waitress we had was exceptional. I was less impressed with the atmosphere. and outside the water smell with horrendous my expectations may be a little high. I've been to many many restaurants and I'm originally from Las Vegas.

Our waitress Cassidy was absolutely disrespectful when we had asked why the food was so salty she stated “That’s how the owner Jason likes it take it up with him” we were in such a shock our drinks were a bit to strong but we enjoyed the evening but won’t be coming back with how rude she was and couldn’t even apologize for it.

Last night was our 29th anniversary and my wife suggested we eat at Escondido. We decided to meet some friends at 5:30. When we arrived the hostesses asked if we had reservations. We did not. We were not aware that we needed them. We never had made them before. They asked if we would mind eating outside. We decided that would work.
