Okk so im glad they’re a source of support for ppl. they have a pretty center and good snacks so I’ll still recommend them out but they are not for me. I tried getting peer support with them in July and had a crappy experience with their staff. I asked for the peer Lupe Medina to speak slowly and pause so I can follow along and she agreed to but didn’t and a week later I got super activated (delayed processing). This is a very new non-profit LBGT center specifically to help trans community. Not a doctors office! Tried reporting the reviews complaining about doctors. This is not EQUI Health. If you're trans or queer identified, do you need help? Clothes? Snack? Shower? Peer services are backed up, and housing navigation is as well. Gotta wear a mask in facility when not eating. Lots of staff who are all learning, so it takes a while to get anything taken care of. But if you are patient, they're kind. They are happy to help.
Caring staff treat people like human beings not just another number I owe a lot of my healing and success to these people
