I’ve been in the solar industry for 8 years and I can confidently say this is the worst company in the state. I was employed as a sales rep and was never paid on countless jobs resulting in over $40k in unpaid commission. If you’re considering going solar, I recommend reading Yelp and BBB reviews. If you work for TEC or Ahmed you won’t get paid. I wish this company had some integrity.
Poating this review for consumer awareness. I've received 25 calls from the spam and robo callers who say they are working for this company. They say they are licensed but refuse to provide their license information. There is no listing for them on the CSLB These are the folks responsible for calling you repeatedly at all hours. Please don't condone this behavior by working with them.
I chose The Energy Company mainly because of the flexibility in their solar energy plans. The pricing was competitive, and everything was explained clearly. Communication has been solid, and I feel confident in the agreement I signed. No issues so far.
