It was not a good place to live. Two cars were stolen while I lived there. Other cars were vandalized. The building superintendent was not responsive when you emailed or called in a repair request. So I moved to another apartment in Pasadena a mile away and I have been much happier. It also took several months and repeated calls before I got my security deposit back and they deduct a large amount for repainting. However, many stores and restaurants are a short walk away.

I have been living here for two years now and I definitely had great experience. The apartment is clean and quiet with the beautiful view from the window. Especially with the new community director Louise, living in Encore is even better now. She is very professional and passionate about managing the apartment, a lot of things have improved and are still ongoing after she got here. I strongly recommend living here!
Nick (community director) and Alberto (handyman) are the A-Team. Nick is professional, patient, courteous and went above and beyond to accommodate our move and to ensure we’re comfortable and everything was working properly after we moved in.
