I love my apartment! I've lived here for 4 months after relocating from another state. The building is very quiet and secure. Everyone I've encountered have been pleasant. My complaints are: the hallways are not cleaned regularly, maintenance requests are slow to be done, the cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom are old and need to be repaired, which won't be done since they consider it cosmetic. I am changing my review to 1star (if I could give zero stars I would) because what I have dealt with over the several weeks I have lived here has been a nightmare. Let's start with the fire alarm it is the most deafening sound I have ever heard. I have a son with special needs, when the fire alarm went off several days ago it caused him to have a seizure and my ears are still ringing from the horrific deafening sound the alarm makes. There has also been multiple fire alarm malfunctions and also plumbing problems. My door knob had an electric keypad and it died. They couldn’t get in without breaking the door and had to replace entire door. They didn’t replace keypad. And gave me a lock and key despite wanting a keypad. On top of this the new door they forgot to make a spare key and had to ask me for one. This happened when they had to get into my apartment to fix the plumbing…I wouldn’t have been able to get into my apartment if I had lost it. They have c... read more
