Jasmine is extremely knowledgeable, and very dedicated to being evidence based. She can be more on the side of conservative (which at times can come off as a little intense) when it comes to practice, but this is because she understands and has seen the harm that can occur from people practicing EMDR in ways that it was not designed/intended to be used. If you do your basic training with her, you can trust you will be learning EMDR in the way it was researched to be practiced. Can't recommend her enough.
Please go anywhere else for your training other than here. It’s been several years since my experience with Jasmine (the woman running this centre) and I am still traumatized. She scammed me and made up lies allowing her to remove me without warning or cause and kept my money. Most importantly, because she is neither a Social Worker, psychotherapist, or Psychologist her colleges did not take my complaint seriously as I was not a “client” but a trainee.
