I’ve lived in this apartment for many years and have always appreciated its convenience — there’s a Chinese grocery store and a few nice bakeries nearby, and it’s right next to the subway. My electric bill for last month was $568 and this month $658 only two people are living here. Management said don’t turn off the heater but I feel if I turned it off the heater when I was out i could save at least $50-60, it is too unreasonable $658

Doorman here are very helpful and there are many restaurants nearby. One major issue here is that the electricity is provided by ConEdison, which is extremely expensive. During the winter, I’ve already tried to use the heater as little as possible, but despite living alone, my electricity bill still reaches over $400 per month. That’s outrageous. If it were around $200 per month, I could still accept it, but $400+ seems way too unreasonable.
