I’ve lived at Ellis Factory for 6 years. I think it’s a beautiful building and I have always stayed because the rent was reasonable. I’ve seen the same few neighbors for years and everyone is really nice. I would disagree regarding the noise on the patio. I have a unit right in front of the patio and I sleep fine. My only complaint (if you want to call it that) was my parking was free when I first moved in. I lost my garage pass a few years ago, but that didn’t change how I felt about the community. Property Manager is ridiculous. Next door neighbors always fighting. Won’t negotiate rent prices. Why sign another year lease. This place is the worse. The windows leak water. Walls are thin. Parking is not free. Do not rent from here. I miss Chingburg.

Worse place ever to live. Walls are really thin. Use your be good before new management took over. The patio is always a mess and people getting drunk in there. I recently moved out a couple months ago. They never listen to your requests. WiFi is always down. Laundry is always down. And for what they charge for the apartments are ridiculous. DO NOT MOVE IN HERE!!! This has been since New Management took over in October. WiFi has been down multiple times. the patio isn’t open year round it’s only open in the summer and closes... read more
