Like many people have said, the slides, pools, and pier “save this place”. The food was good at the restaurant and the front desk staff were awesome. Those were the “pro’s”. Con’s- per the norm I felt nickeled and dime’d, for context- the resort will charge you $15 per day for parking, $35 resort fee per day, $75 PER DAY for animals, also 4 pages of applicable “taxes”. Rooms overlooking the pool with a view of the ocean. Restaurants on property. Great place for a couples weekend. Close enough to the airport that an Uber doesn't cost much. I'd book a room here again. Bring your eye mask though if you like a dark room to sleep in. Between the lights on the pool area, and the lights on the balcony the rooms do not get dark at night.
The Hotel looks very different from any Hilton property I visited. The room doors are outside sort kind of like a super 8 hotel style, however But the room were very nice and clean,, the beds was very comfortable and no bed bugs. I loved the fact that the balcony was private; Although, the hotel room doors can be approached from outside I felt very safe during my trip. You could only access the property if you had room keys.
