LOVE this place! Such a great place for a weekend day trip. (We live an hour away in IL) The paper-bag apple pies are to die for! But they have such a big selection of great food, it’s hard not to buy it all and spend $100+. LOL Highly recommend to anyone who wants to go for the first time, or 100th time!
It seems everyone raves about the Apple pie in a bag and deservedly so but what I love is their cheese selection! They also have great sausage, coffee and spices.

I ordered two of the paper bag apple pies at the end of March beginning of April. One I had shipped to my son for his birthday in IL and the other shipped to my house so we could celebrate his birthday virtually with the same dessert. I cannot even tell you how delicious this pie was. My son loved it, his grandmother loved it, his girlfriend loved it and everyone in my house loved it too! So many high quality tasty treats. The made to order food is excellent too. I had a grilled ham and cheese with kettle chips and it was delicious. Don’t go hungry or you’ll do so much impulse buying and pack on the pounds when you get home.

Recently had takeout lunch from Elegant Farmer - grilled sandwiches and soup were both generous and excellent! Homemade tortilla chips and salsa were a nice surprise side option.
