The building itself is really nice (for a new building) but the management is atrocious, entitled, and lacks proper customer service training. Mary should be ashamed of the way she talks to long time paying tenants. Just a greedy corporate run apt building that could careless about their tenants
We are a married couple with no kids/pets and lived there for 4 years (age 27-31). The staff were great and responsive and we really liked the amenities. It was a shame that most of the people living there were miserable. We had people over on a Friday and were casually conversing at 8 PM when one of our neighbors knocked on our door and left a passive aggressive note telling us that they would call the cops if we didn't be quiet. I like to focus on the positives of what I like about the Elaine but my concerns and grievances make the Elaine not worth the ask. I currently cannot recommend. Don’t waste your money or hopes moving in here right now. The Elaine is upside down. So many wonderful places to reside. Don’t pick the building sitting on a triangle, surrounded by an alarming amount of power-lines, a crappy Tesla building that people come to protest, all the while your surrounding view is of a random hotel, office buildings, highway, overgrown weed... read more
Front desk receptionist with dirty blonde hair is very rude. I asked for directions because a customer wanted an order dropped off and she was just rolling her eyes at me and giving me nasty attitude. This lady needs to be fired. If you dont like your job just quit to be honest. No need to be rude. Its not my fault u hate ur job :)
Really nice apartments but yes they are expensive and pretty small compared to other places. Location is convenient to Eden’s but you will hear it with doors or windows open. You get used to it. It’s the North shore burbs so residents are older in here - retired folks downsizing, divorcees wanting to stay in area or older folks moving to be near kids (e.g. Ladies meet and play canasta in the common room).
