Got a notice on my door saying they couldn't replace a smoke detector and that they needed to come in so I took the day off of work to make sure they were able to enter. They replaced the smoke detector last week so I was very confused about the notice but was willing to comply regardless. I've lived here for nearly 5 years. You do not want to live here. Ever since the new company took over this place is like living in a detention center or something very similar. They want to enter your apartment very regularly with little to no notice to perform inspections on your unit and leave you no privacy. Also if you dont realize they're coming and there's anything off like a dirty balcony or clutter because you weren't expecting anyone they threaten evictions. It seems like a quaint community but I’m really bothered with how they handle maintenance requests. I moved in to an apartment that the lights won’t stop flickering and the microwave doesn’t work. It’s been almost two months since they put in the request. Not only did I move into an apartment that wasn’t ready but they are taking their sweet time fixing it. I had to buy my own microwave when the apartment already came with one. I’ve been in apartment communities this size and never had an issue so there should be no excuse. ... read more
