Our menu features food from many local farms and a style that is our own version of "Pub food" ranging from southern comfort to European bistro. We are committed to using the highest quality nutrient rich ingredients; no GMO's, chemical free and organic when possible, our proteins are always antibiotic free and hormone free and our fish is sustainably caught/raised. We believe good food eaten in a comfortable place makes us happier people.

We happened upon this beautiful place. The staff were friendly and efficient. Guidelines for cleanliness and safety were clearly posted. Attention to local fare and sustainable materials was evident. With all of that being said, the food and the outdoor space were exceptional. A simple egg and cheese biscuit and home fries were elevated to one of the best meals I’ve had. We enjoyed a beautiful walk along the Haw River afterward. Such a lovely experience.

I recommend for the food and we had a great waitress Jesse. We did not appreciate the manager, Allison. She was not a nice person and should not work for the public. She was very unprofessional to both me and my husband. We were the 1st people in the door today for service. We asked if we could sit at the bar. She immediately told us to get back, keep our masks on and wait for the hostess. She then helped the people behind us, asking if they had a reservation, I spoke up and said we don't and she looked at me with dead eyes ... read more

We are glad you enjoyed your experience. With Covid happening we are operating primarily with reservations only so we wanted to seat the people who had made reservations before we handled walk in customers. It is also currently a NC mandate that masks be worn when in a restaurant, Allyson was merely enforcing the rules placed upon us for everyone’s safety.
Have always loved going to The Eddy, but today was wonderful. We ordered our food ahead of time. When we arrived (earlier than scheduled), they were finishing up our meals. Plenty of space to wait away from others. Hand sanitizer at the entrance and bar. We ate outside near the road and it was really pleasant.
Great service just a great place to go
