I've been having some serious electrical problems with my 2010 Jetta TDI, figuring it is an ECU problem, I reached out to the ECU Connection via their chat to see if I could get a new ECU. I’ve recieved my original ecu back in the mail. I was told that I would be receiving 400$ of the original 500$ spent due to the restocking fee. I have not yet received a refund and I’m not having any luck getting in contact. Anytime they actually answer the phone the customer service is usually pretty good, but the blatant lack of communication is driving me nuts. I just need my money back
This is a scam! The only reason this is a one star review is because 0 stars is not an option. A year ago we ordered an ECU for our 2000 Jetta, they sent one and it wouldn't start the car. We sent it back along with our original ECU, they sent a second one and it started the car but the gauges wouldn't work. We sent that one back for replacement, they never sent one and they have ghosted us ever since. Update. I finally received my ecu. I am yet to receive a refund.
The most unorganized, unprofessional & un-timely transaction I've ever made. If you want to call it a transaction. I sent a rare, hard to find ECU belonging to a government owned vehicle of an extremely important fleet customer in for repair/cloning. I first verified several times with them via Ebay messenger that they could source the proper donor parts to get the job done. They assured me they could.
