I started working with Christal over five months ago. My wife and I had newlywed issues coming from different backgrounds. Christal was very tough on me in the beginning with her honesty. Her honesty was a very hard pill to swallow because I can be stubborn in my relationship with my wife. Counseling has been great for my marriage. A breath of fresh air!
I gave Christal a fare chance here. I was hoping that meeting with a Christian therapist would help with family therapy following a painful divorce and parental alienation where my two girls have learned to hate me. I made some mistakes in the past, I owned up to them, but every issue with the girls gets turned on me. Bad behavior from the girls is nurtured instead of rebuked. Bad behavior is blamed on me. Not too happy about the communication level the office shows. I was a new PT looking for a counselor, spoke to Christel and she had me send over my insurance documents, sent them same day 7/16. Had to send a follow up email 7/26 to learn that she still needed to check, didn’t receive an answer until 8/1 stating that I was covered. Didn’t get a call till 8/6 to schedule an appt.
