*UPDATED REVIEW* Durable Slate is no longer a New Orleans company and they don't seem to be able to take on any new smaller residential work. I've called a few times now and have been told that Justin will get back to me to schedule the work but no one has. Perhaps if you are a large institution like a church they have time for you but for some leaks in my single family residence roof they never get back. WHEN DURABLE SLATE WAS HERE, they did good work and were professional and timely. BUT ... in June 2015, Durable Slate left New Orleans and moved to Maryland. They recommended a guy named Gus (not a Durable Slate employee) to continue the work on my roof. But Gus is out of Louisiana frequently and when he IS here, he does not return phone calls. You call him for a job, he says he'll call back but he does not. I'll have to find someone else who can repair slate roofs.
