I was very pleased with the work done on our roof. The workers were very professional, always on time, courteous and took great care of the surrounding property. The work site was totally clean when they finished the job and I would gladly reccomend this company to anybody!
left a mess! – They worked on roof adding something to the chimney and were real nice and everything but they left a mess. Our patio and driveway was covered with small chunks of concrete and slate and some other dark grey materials. It needed to be swept up. Also there were these little chunks of concrete as well as screws and nails left on the yard. It's already taken me an hour to clean up the worst of it. I don't usuallly gripe but man, they shouldn't leave clean up like this for the customer . . .
Don't trust what they say! TERRIBLE!!!!!!! – Had Durable go look at some slate. They wanted to buy it, so bad.Durable wanted our company to remove it because they was two weeks out an they would buy it. Hired a crew go remove it, piece by piece which took two weeks. Had Durable come over to get it and they all the sudden changed their mind. TERRIBLE! This is how you lose customers. The owner lost over $3000.00 out of pocket, based on (Durable Slates) word. The Best in town – I'm so happy I found these guys. John, Ryan, Josh and Kevin? were absolutely fantastic. I would recommend these guys to anyone. Durable Slate was the first company I've found that really understands my slate roof. I was so frustrated before I found these guys that I went out and bought a book by Joseph Jenkins called "The Slate Roof Bible" and was considering doing my own work. No one in town seemed to follow standard slate practices until I found Durable Slate.
True slaters! – I'm originally from Boston, and there's a number of true slaters there. I assumed it'd be the same here, because New Orleans is such an old city with fantastic homes with slate roofs, but I seemed like it was hopeless finding a real slater in town. Then I called Durable Slate. They are the real McCoy. They're the only ones I'll let on my slate roof.
I'm glad I hired them – Durable Slate fixed my leaky slate roof and also took out all those ugly "clips". I'm so glad I hired them. My roof looks so much better.
Absolutely best historical roofers in town!! – They were able to fix my roof when no one else could tell me what was wrong with it. They were great to work with and are very hard working.
Great service – I was very impressed with their knowledge and work ethic. They are a great company to work with. We had them replace our copper flashings 2 years ago and then recently they replaced our copper gutters. I've been very satisfied with their work and I would highly recommend them.
Impressed with service – They temporarily fixed my leak while I was waiting on their scheduling to come out. I was quite impressed that they did this. After the crew came out, my roof got fixed fully and it looks really good.
