I moved into the building at the beginning of November. The apartment was prepared and clean. It's a wonderful building with additional amenities, such as a gym, pool, recreation area, etc. I'd like to especially thank the landlord, who was accommodating and helped us split the move into two parts, and did his best to help with parking and storage space, as the building lacked both. The residence we live in increases the rent by 5% every year, and we pay between \$130 and \$150 per month for parking. It’s impossible to negotiate once you're in. Cockroach infested year round, constant water leakage problems, no proper ventilation in the laundry rooms, high rent for low quality apartments. Homestead enters apartments for "showings" with little to no notice at all. There are still people who smoke cigarettes in the building despite their "no smoking policy", neighbors smoking can be smelt through the wall, cigarette remains in the grass all around the building not safe for dogs. Unpleasant management experience The building is managed by a couple, and unfortunately, the atmosphere they create is far from welcoming. The woman, in particular, never greets tenants — unless you happen to fit a very specific "look." As neighbors, we expect at least a minimal level of courtesy, but she consistently avoids even saying hello. It is a very nice building, however, there are an unbelievable amount of spiders at the entrance of the building, and as far as I know they've only cleaned them up once or twice in the past year, and they came back after only 2-3 weeks. This is entirely too many spiders.
