Fun atmosphere,friendly staff but terribly, inexcusably slow service. We did have a big party and they claimed they wanted to serve us all at the same time and that was the reason for the delay but we were there for almost 100 minutes before we got our food. They did bring us some free edamane but it was little consolation. I was also disappointed that they only had beer, wine, and sake. With so many other options in the immediate area, I probably won't go back there.
Decor very hip, warm and inviting. Server was very friendly and helpful/ now that I live back in SRQ (after a year in downtown St. Pete) I will be going to the Drunken Poet a minimum of twice a month
The service, atmosphere and food are simply delicious. The product is all organic and put together as it should be. Bravo!

Delicious! The menu suggested that it would take some time for the food to be prepared, this was no problem. The food came out in no time and was amazing. We will be back!
I recommending trying out the Drunken Poet Cafe if you've never been here before. Great food (I'm a picky eater), excellent service and a very nice atmosphere. Looking forward to my next visit!
I love Drunken Poet Fresh, made to order sushi. Especially love the healthy cucumber rolls and the BEST shrimp Pad Thai on the Suncoast.
