I had a reservation for may the 15th. I received a confirmation of my booking 3 days ago, and I found closed doors. I sent a email and tried to call to get a refund but everything has been disconnected. what a shame! I am so mad. terrible way to treat people.
Somthing very strange and bad happened here.. we had a reservation April 6th 2025 and showed up to an abandoned Clifton with a sign saying that the water was turned off... but it looked like everyone just vacated.. and we haven't gotten our room charge refunded.. no one answers the phone number for the place, or the contact for refunds phone number listed on the sign taped to the door. Very odd.
It's lawsuit time. Booked hotel to attend event downtown. When we arrived to check in there was a note on door that they were closed due to water being turned off. I tried the email from sign on door and it bounced back. No warning email so we could book another property. Hopefully it doesn't hit my card card as I will be requesting a refund from our credit card company! Sad because we have stayed here several times in the past but sounds like something has happened worse than a water issue. I read the warnings on Google too... read more
The hotel shut down after I booked my room and did not issue me a refund (or a warning that they were no longer open for that matter). I had been attempting to get ahold of someone there for a few weeks and luckily noticed on instagram that they were no longer open before I arrived. Extremely unprofessional. Read the other reviews and do NOT book this place.
WARNING: Do not book here. I think this place might be a scam. I was told to notify them I would be arriving outside of 3pm-8pm, but their phone number and email are not in service and are listed as "temporarily closed" during my booked stay
