We have had the most amazing experience with Debra. She has shared a wealth of knowledge. Debra provided the best pregnancy, labour and postpartum support. I truly can’t imagine this journey without her. Everyone deserves an amazing pregnancy and birth. Everyone deserves a doula! We’re so thankful we decided to go with the Doula Group! Thank you!
It’s truly hard to put into words just how incredible our experience was with Debra. We truly could not have done it without her. From her relaxing but informative home visits before the birth to all her hours of calm advocacy, knowledge and gentle reassurance during the birth of our beautiful son, Debra was there for us at every moment. We would therefore not hesitate in any way recommending her for your birth. In fact, we can’t imagine considering a birth experience without a doula like Debra at their side.
After Christy attended my first birth, I knew I wanted her at my second. She was pivotal in keeping me focused and coping with pain in a constructive way. She guided my husband as much as she guided me through the whole process. He loved that she coached him into a place where he knew how to better support me. After having gone through the IVF process to become pregnant, one important thing we learned was you need to have good support around you. Once we decided we wanted a doula as part of that support team for the pregnancy and birth or our little one, we reached out to the doula group and met with multiple doulas. I had my first baby in October last year. Debra was my Doula, and I'd like to share, although Debra was my Doula - she very quickly became my friend. I didn't know what to expect as this was a first for me, she is incredibly supportive, knowledgeable, kind, compassionate, honest and gives the absolute best hugs.
