Let me start by saying yeast based donuts are my favorite. These donuts are a brioche base which I found to be a little dense and not as light as yeast donuts, but not as heavy as cake. The flavors are creative, but the ones we tried today were borderline dry and tasted kind of bland if you didn't get any filling with your bite. No decaf coffee options, and only water or soda for kids. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the space is cozy and nicely decorated.
My daughter and I went in today. The staff was very friendly! Carly had a huge smile on her face and was very helpful. I'm not a coffee drinker, but LOVED the hotdogs and omg donuts were so good!
Great food paired with AMAZING customer service. I got a Dirty OG donut and was one of the best donuts I've had, definitely better than other donut places in the area. The girl who assisted me, one with ginger-ish hair, was so kind and knowledgable as well. I was impressed with the all the workers knowledge. The Donut + Dog has a great space as well, cozy + comfortable. Definitely a place to check out when you are in and around Nashville! With food as good as this, it's no surprise they ran out during the soft opening!
Amazing spot for delicious coffee, artisan hot dogs, and LIFE changing donuts. Seriously, try them out! You can tell they really focus on quality, from their food to their beer selection...Family run with all the personal touches too! A wonderful addition to the Nashville food and beer community.
