Before working with Upstate Dog Wizard, life with our newly adopted dog Paxton came with a learning curve. We adopted Paxton from the Humane Society when he was about 2½ years old, and while he had some basic training, he was still adjusting and we needed help with guidance and acclimating a newly adopted dog into our home. We rescued a 1 year old and she was a LOT. We have two cats and a toddler and integrating her into our life was not smooth at all. We looked at a couple training companies and ended up going with UDW. Meg was our trainer and she was amazing. Super professional, knowledgeable, easy to work with and always in a good mood. I cannot recommend Sara with Dog Wizard enough! We reached out because our dog, Julie, was struggling with house training, leash etiquette and pulling. Sara Branchi did an amazing job training both us and our dog. Instead of just giving commands, she taught us how to communicate better. We had an amazing experience with The Dog Wizard in Greer! Our two dogs, Roger and Oakley, completed the 14-day board and train program this summer. The difference in their behavior is incredible. Before training, it was a challenge to take them out in public without feeling overwhelmed or embarrassed by their behavior. My Cocker Spaniel, Tex, just graduated from a 2 week board and train program at Upstate Dog Wizard, and I could not be happier. Talk about a transformation! Tex learned so many new skills and gained so much confidence. Meg, our trainer, is PHENOMENAL. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a trainer. Worth every penny.
