Our reactive dog Olivia attended one-on-one training sessions 2x weekly with Kat who did the heavy lifting by day, then trained us, Olivia’s humans, on what she & Olivia had spent the day working on. Olivia is proficient at sit, down, heel, & place. We (Olivia’s humans) are still a work in progress on handling some of the reactivity while out on walks, but we can actually take Olivia on a walk now without feeling dragged thru the neighborhood. From the very first conversation, the Dog Wizard team took the time to sit down with us, truly listen to our goals for our pup, and share their honest professional insights on what would work best. We brought our 4-year-old Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd, Vinnie, for the two week program. Before training, we had difficulty dealing with his reactivity to his surroundings. Since he’s already an adult, we were worried he might be difficult to train, but Briauna did an amazing job with him. Vinnie is now doing incredibly well with all of his training, both inside and outside the house, and we’re happy to be able to walk him in places where he would have previously been reactive. Remi is my 3 yo rescue Barbet who I’ve had for 1 yr. Now that she’s comfy in her new surroundings she decided she’s the boss. As a result if something gets her attention she darts to catch it. Especially squirrels. Walks had become difficult and she recently pulled me over in the street and up the neighbors driveway. My friend recommended Dog Wizard. Kat was AWESOME!!! I brought my 65 lb. year and a half Boxer Pitbull furry baby for a two-week Board and Train Program, where he stayed at their facility full time. I first spoke with Corrie, who assessed the situation and answered the many questions I had, and recommended the best fit for Hopper.
