I have 19 years grooming experience and I have two employees that have couple years. I am about the last groomer in the valley that grooms cats also. Love this place. Most importantly, I know my dog is always treated well because she's quite fearful usually but is always excited to arrive. And she always looks, smells and feels fantastic. Always a fun little place to swing into since it's nestled in the cute 15th & 15th area of Sugarhouse.
They Killed my dog! Do NOT take your animals here. We took our 15 week old puppy there, explained to them multiple times to feed watch her and be quick. Dropped her off at 8:45am. They called us at 11:15 asking how to groom our other dog. Then I called at 2pm wondering why my dogs were not ready as i clearly instructed to be quick with our puppy. Great place to board or groom dogs and cats – I've been taking my dog here for over 10 years. They are professional and very caring. My dog likes to be boarded here. The cat groomer is great, too. Wonderful neighborhood business.-Jackie
Super Dog Groomer – We find The Dog Show to be personable aand professional. We own 3 Briards- dogs with LOTS od HAIR - not only do our dogs come home looking great, but they are treated well and if we do say- a bit spoiled! We have been going there for the last 4 months and don't plan on changing that any time soon. We certainly recommend this place to our friends and family. Good groomers, would definitely recommend – I have a hard time believing some of these negative reviews. I've been taking my miniature schnauzer here to be groomed every 8 weeks for almost a year now, and I've had very good experiences. My dog always looks fantastic when I pick her up... very clean with a good, even haircut. They even get the mats out of her fur, which can be tricky to remove. Really Good Deal, Pretty Good Service – I took my 2 year old Newfoundland here. I needed his summer hair cut and a bath. The Dog Show charges almost 1/2 of what other groomers charge for a giant dog. I arrived early to pick up my dog and watched the groomers interact with the dogs, they seemed professional and competent. The ladies were friendly and my dog looked great when he was done.
Do not take your animale here!!! – We took our dog here today for the first time. We were recommended this place by a friend. First impression is great. Store is located in prestigious 15th and 15th neighborhood. The store front is a retail shop with lots of cute dog accessories and what not. BUT the back of the shop, where the dogs/cats get groomed is a whole other story. The back room is dirty, the kennels are filthy!
