We treat the dogs like their our own (with love and patience). We get to know our customers and their dogs. Skunk perfume, anyone??? Chris has been grooming my huge, white, furry dogs for many years. My dogs actually were HAPPY when I would tell them they were going to "The Groomer"!!! Chris is amazing!!! My dog was skunked at 2:30 AM, I showed up behind the Dog Barber shop's door at 7 AM on a busy Saturday without an appointment, and Chris got started immediately mixing the magic potion that took away nearly ALL the odor. Treated like family I have owned a Lhasa Poo for 12 years. She recently passed away. The dog barber and the employees not only did a great job on cutting our dogs hair, but she was a handful to deal with when she was young, and they always had a smile when we walked in. My dog was always so happy as soon as I pulled my car up to the door. Good Place for Wheaten Terriers I like the way they cut my wheaten terriers. I also like the way they let the dogs run around behind the counter when they're finished. Good place.
Very Happy I have been bringing my dogs here for over seven years. Everyone is kind and knowledgeable and they do a wonderful job. I particularly like the fact that my dogs are able to lay down in the open after they are finished.
Very happy, long term customer I just wanted to let others know, I am very happy with the care of my dog at this groomer and have been using them for 3 years. My dog always comes home happy and cut just the way I asked. He is excited to go each time. I had problems at another groomer with him just being shaved and was told they could not take the time to comb him out. ***WARNING***DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE! My little Shih Tzu is getting a little old and can tend to be grouchy when picked up a certain way because of his arthritis. The Dog Barber choose to cover my dogs mouth with a muzzle and he was not able to breath and passed out. The groomer casually told us he had a seizure and passed out but they were able to shake him and he was then OK. We told our vet about this and said "DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG THERE AGAIN!" Great Service and Cuts I have been taking my lab/nuffie to the Dog Barber for the last 10 years and they always do a great job. They are very compassionate with the now 'old man' who has some knee and hip problems. I don't worry that they will hurry him. They are the only place I trust with him.
Sue I am happy to say I have been bringing my mixed breed to the Dog Barber for 10 years now and am thoroughly satisfied with their performance. They listen to what I tell them and my dog is always happy to go there. They are very accommodating if you have special requests. Give them a try, their prices are very fair.
Two paws up! We bring our German Shepherd/Akita here for grooming and they are outstanding! They are great in making special accommodations that she needs while she's there. Super people doing a awesome job with animals! We would highly recommend this place to anyone!!!!
