The food, service, and atmosphere was wonderful. I had the sampler plate, it was delicious. The brisket melts in your mouth. The pulled pork is savory and the BBQ sauce is a perfect addition to the smokey taste of the BBQ. Golden fried okra and slow cooked pinto beans were my sides and everything was cooked to perfection. If you find yourself driving through Paris The Dig is the place to go!
I just saw on the menu, grilled pineapple, as a side. I had never eaten it so I had to try. It was amazing! It has some kind of seasoning on it that takes away some of the sweetness and enhances the flavor of the pineapple. This will definitely be one of my sides from now on. We love their catfish also! 4 generous portions. ❤
