I had been searching for such a long time for a real DBT therapist for my daughter. We have been working with Dr. Aranda for about six weeks now. We feel so fortunate for the referral from our child’s psychologist to DBT, under her expertise. The combination of counseling she has provided for our child, as the patient, along with coaching for us, as parents, has been exactly what we needed to diminish incidence of self harm and suicidal ideation. Outstanding program! All staff is outstanding and Dr. Aranda only surrounds herself with true professionals. The only program that genuinely made a difference in our son and our family. We highly recommend DBT of Arizona to all of our families at Gateway Academy.
We’ve spent a lot of time with the professionals at DBT AZ, and our daughter is better for it. We started with the teen DBT skills group. I was skeptical about using any mental health professionals, but recognized the general life skills which were taught in this course and figured if this class stops my daughter from making one big mistake in her life it is worth it.
