A true gem in Detroit. The history, the ambience, the location, and the staff are all top notch. The Cigar Bar and brunch are first rate. Highly, highly recommend!

Went for Sunday Brunch before going to a matinee at the Fisher Theatre. I love the menu. I had the Lobster and Crab Omelette...... Deliscious! My wife had the French toast and my daughter had the Pancakes with the lemon curd both delicious! Service was a little shaky at first but got better as the meal went on. Our waitress was the only one on duty and was doing the best she could. The venue itself is worth going into. Beautiful old decor which goes back over a hundred years ago!! I recommend The Detroit Club to anyone.
We had our work Christmas party last night. Highly recommended this place. Great staff!
So let me know after 30 min a bartender still did not show up. So we took beers and left money. 20 min later the bartender showed up SLAPPED the remote out of my husbands hand. He was not nice at all! We told him we are sorry we took beer and showed him the money WITH THE NOTES we left for the beer and asked him if it was enough. He was so rude the manger has to comped us our round then gave us a another round on the house. Then she was so uncomfortable having that bartender on staff she shut the whole bar down for the rest ... read more
