I had Dr. Stephens as a professor while I was completing my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is an amazing professor with a wealth of knowledge. Dr. Stephens is the type of professor you wish you could have for every class. She not only challenges you to think beyond what you thought possible but she is also approachable and compassionate. She provides you with practical tools to not only improve your craft but improve yourself as a human. She challenges the status quo, and is able to see through performance to get straight to the heart of the person with whom she is speaking.
