The Culinary Arts Department at Scottsdale Community College proudly operates two restaurants in which our student chefs create and serve the best in culinary fare. The Artichoke Grill is open for lunch Tuesday through Friday, serving fabulous a la carte meals that include soups, salads, sandwiches, grill items and desserts. The Desert Oasis dining room provides our guests outstanding five course dinners, Wednesday through Friday. Menus change weekly and can be viewed on our web site, www.scottsdalecc.edu/culinary

I don’t often write reviews but our service tonight prompted me to so this. It is my birthday so we took our best friends to the restaurant for a special celebration. One of our party ordered the Pork Chop. It was brought out very undercooked. Very unprofessional. Our friend is a retired butcher! So we told them and they took the same piece of pork BACK on the grill and brought back. I believe that is unlawful. Cooked more and brought back 20 minutes later. Our gals on the go group went to artichoke grill for lunch today ((2/5/25). The food was wonderful and the students did a great job. My main waiter was Sean and I hope our table put him at ease by the end of the lunch. He is a great kid and I’m so glad we had him as our main server. All of the students helped each other and it was fun to see the young people enjoying serving others. The instructor was also very informative as to the program and it’s goals. I would recommend eating here but make sure you make a reservation.
Would not know it was student run. Sooo professional and amazing service. Food was mindblowing - elevated high cuisine.
We love coming to The Artichoke Grill at Scottsdale Community College. This restaurant is part of the college's Culinary Arts Program and the students truly do a great job! The food is always excellent, awesome presentation and wonderful service! We usually order the 3 course menu which includes soup or salad, bread, entree, dessert and beverage. I wish they were open year round and for dinner and weekends!
