Worst derm experience ever! Do not trust their shady billing or their advice. I came in for a skin cancer screening, the same screening I had done a year before here, which was fine. This year, the doctor was terrible; he barely glanced at my skin and told me I should only do self-checks and don't need to come in for yearly checks which is the exact opposite of what every other dermatologist has ever told me. Had an appt and after waiting 40 mins was told, my medication wasn't there but can be delivered in 2 mins. I rescheduled for two days later, got there 5 mins early, waited 40 mins to be told my medication isn't there. I expressed how if it was going to be delivered two days prior. They called to find where it can be delivered from. Waited another 15 mins for nothing. This happened to be a few months back. This practice has one of the most frustrating communication systems I’ve ever dealt with. The biggest issue is that you cannot actually reach the office you were seen at. I went to the Greenpoint location, but every phone call goes through a central call center. The people answering have no direct knowledge of what’s happening in the office, so every question turns into “We’ll let the office know,” with no actual resolution. Update: Why is Dr Singh still employed here? The recent reviews suggest she hasn’t changed and is wildly sporadic in how she treats patients. During my checkup, she blew up in my face and stormed out of the room because I wanted clarification about how to proceed if a mole was cancerous. Her PA just stood there awkwardly and said nothing, which makes me think she’s used to seeing her wild mood swings. Dr. Singh needs to go back to school to learn how to interact with patients.
