We really enjoyed having The Den in the old Poppies location. They were always very welcoming and genuinely attentive to our dining needs. We will miss them! This is a family business, and we admired that they were pursuing a dream. Sorry the other reviewers were disappointed -- I support the difficult choices they have had to make to tend to their family. Perhaps they'll be back, stronger than ever, once they've healed.
(North) Very disappointed, have tried to follow them only to be disappointed by driving over every time they say they're open to see another excuse on the door. Can't support someone that doesn't communicate, keep promises. If this is how you operate, you won't be open long, if you open at all. If you don't update your social media, at least have a voice recording in your phone line.
Tried the South Evergreen location prior to the North opening. The food was just Ok and the service was not great. Took a long time to get seated, long time to order and a long time to get food (even with very few customers). It appeared that there was no one actually in charge of the kids who were serving and cooking the food. They were more interested in yelling and singing out of tune. Will try the North location at least once and hope for a better experience.
As a Celiac my choices in where I eat are few. Love the Den both North and South. The gluten free pizza is great and NOT just a frozen Udi's like most places. Also they only charge $1.00 for a Gluten free bun which actually tastes like a real bun! Their gluten free pancakes are great too. So nice to have friendly, reasonably priced places to go and have it gluten friendly too!
Amazing flavor , the steak was super delicious, clean ,excelente service, i just love the place, .
Great Place!!!!!!! Music was great, vegan pizza was excellent as was the service!!!!!
