This place is a jewel. The owner is a Brisbane treasure.
Highly recommend The Demolition Yard at Coorparoo. Found some really hard to find timber pieces for my projects here that I haven’t been able to find elsewhere. Peter has been most helpful on the 3 occasions I have been in (September 2022) really knowledgeable and I really noticed the quality of the timber is in a lot better condition than other demo yards! The time they take to remove them with very little damage really shows. Extensive variety of sash windows, all sizes and types of timber. Reasonable prices too.

Whilst has a good range, the old guy there was very grumpy, dismissive and unhelpful.
