Buying our first house, especially as a new small business owner, was quite the ordeal. We had unrealistic expectations of the area we could afford and frankly, thought we knew everything because we watch HGTV. It pains my heart to give a bad review and I ONLY do so when it is absolutely necessary to save families the pain someone has caused MY family. John Degroods sales tactics were the worst thing I had experienced since I worked for a shady home improvement company in 1997.
