1. The Deco is a nursing home. Staff will not mention it on your tour, but there are endless listings on senior living sites. The Hallways are indistinguishable from a nursing home, truly ask yourself if that’s what you want to see every time you leave your door in your 20-40s. 2. The Deco either does not or cannot care for their residents. The office is closed 4/7 days of the week. Loved it here. Until I moved out and it feels like they’re taking advantage of me being a young, single woman. I did not get my deposit back, and instead they’re charging me a $300 fee for cleaning and maintenance, which my deposit should have covered, and it’s not even legal to charge a cleaning fee, especially when it was cleaned by me. I paid all my rent, and participated in the toy drive each year and thought I had a good relationship with the people who work there, but am now feeling extorted.
