Called for a quote on Thursday. Was told I would be contacted in 24-48 hours. Received a call back on the Tuesday. I had already progressed with moving my project forward, and had received three quotes from professional contractors. The Deck Store response to ‘late response and not doing what they say they would’ from Megan was - ‘being the best, we are busy’. I stated that this is not good business protocal and she thanked me for my opinion, and hung up. This is not the type of company that I want to do business with.
1 Star — Only because Google won’t let me give zero Walked into The Deck Store in Oakville at 4 PM — you know, a perfectly normal time when retail stores are still alive, functioning, and maybe even welcoming customers. Great product line, good service, rather large disconnect from retail space and yard though. They should do better.
PVC DECK BOARDS...a little more expensive at first but the low maintenance sold me on it. They do expand and contract depending on the weather but I am in the middle of installing my new deck and I love it already! I knew I was in the right place when I walked into The Deck Store in North York and met with Liza to draw up my plan. The Deck Store built our deck in 2021 and they did an excellent job. The quality and appearance of the deck are excellent. We recently had an issue with the glass railing on our deck( that was not installed by The Deck Store). We followed up with the railing company that installed it and were told that we would have to remove the glass to complete the repair and would be charged $500 which we would have to prepay to have the company come out.
