I would give Davey Tree zero stars if Google allowed it. This has been one of the most frustrating and unprofessional experiences I’ve ever had with a company. They were performing work at my neighbor’s property and, in the process, caused significant damage to my property. Rocks and debris were flying everywhere, resulting in damage to my vehicle, including chipped paint, dents, and cracked windows. Called Davey to trim, shape, and cleanup two overgrown trees, cut/remove a small tree starting to grow right next to one of the larger trees, and also trim/shape/weed and clean up some areas around the foundation at one of my properties in Greensburg, PA. The rep was polite and seemed knowledgeable. I explained the scope of work and expectations. The rep mentioned and recommended a 3yr growth regulator also. A tree fell over on my porch. They got out there the same day to give me an estimate, which was very reasonable. They were able to scheduled the removal within a few days. The crew arrived on time and were incredibly efficient. They were done within an hour, they did an amazing job and cleaned up after themselves. They were a dream to work with during a nightmare time.
Davey Tree Service has been incredible -- amazing management as well as service. Everyone I have dealt with in the office, answering phones, and especially specialists coming to my yard -- all of them have consistently been professional and respectful while also treating me like my yard and the plants I care about matter to them.
