This hospital should be shut down. There is not psychologist, no occupational therapist, no group therapies, no family therapist. I was here informally for 2 months because I agreed I needed help. No help was given to me which then later after my admission i needed to be sectioned because i was to scared to go informally because of my experience here. lovely old building nice and clean.. can't really say much else about the care of patients or staff as I was only there for about an hour.. the male nurse who greeted us at the door was pleasant enough as was the lady nurse who came in the room with some medicine.. loved the little room I was sat in nice and bright with the evening sun

bad health care staff but some are alright. healtchcare are mostly racist, abilest and homophobic, they dont respect prounouns or if you're trans. the doctors and nurses are better I guess. the building not very secure though. the school there is good I didn't like going to school but it was realy good and the teachers there were surprisingly helpful and supportive with mental health and also getting back on track with school work. some patients weren't nice but your there to get help so the help there overall is a 5/10 got ... read more

There were times where they definitely could have done better for the patients in distress though and there wasn't a solid timetable in place. Might be due to the effects of the pandemic at the time so things might have change... read more
