Note that the 1 and 5 ratings are nearly the same. If you read various reviews, the lower ratings are obviously from people with concerns that are specifically articulated. The higher ratings are general comment that are generic in nature. The reason for my low rating is that tdn charged my credit card for a subscription after my trial period. Rather than understanding my error in not canceling on time, the tdn managing editor sent me a copy of the fine print that states I would b3 charged at the full rate. Frankly, this is ... read more

My wife called Longviews Daily News regarding her father’s obituary. Terry was incredibly rude, showed zero compassion. I later called to speak to the manager or supervisor to only find out Terry is the manager. It’s very defeating knowing that the manager was the one who handled things poorly. People are already grieving, the least you can do as a manager or any employee is be compassionate and polite. I spoke to a Mary who is supposed to be Terrys manager, she said Terry has been working there for a very long time, well Te... read more
