Poor service, bad food. I've been to this restaurant more times than I should have - mostly because of its pleasant atmosphere. Don't be fooled by the looks though, the service is slow and the food will make you question whether it's safe to eat. On two occasions, my girlfriend and I had to wait over five minutes just to be greeted by the hostess. Love this place! I am new to the area, and I was pleasantly surprised to find The Daily Grind. The paninis are excellent, everything else I have seen looks great too. And don't get me started about that dessert case! Forget coffee, I definitely go to this spot for the food and the comfortable atmosphere.
Rock Bottom We have eaten here many times and held several parties in their meeting room but we will not be back. We have noticed the service and food quality slide but kept coming back in hopes that each time was a fluke. This weekend we held a baby shower in the meeting room. A person was in the room lighting candles when we arrived but didn't speak to us. When someone finally spoke to us, it was the owner who was angry that her employee hadn't left the correct notes about how we wanted the room setup and our food choices.... read more
Terrible This place used to be great, but has really gone downhill. Our service was horrible, the salad came out with the dinner, there was a piece of plastic in my food that no one working there seemed overly concerned about, the food was not very good (or hot), and dessert was stale. I called today to speak with a manager, and she couldn't have cared less. I will NOT be back. There are better places in Greenville!
Wonderful place I love the daily grind cafe, because this is a restaurant that is laid back and very pleasent. Their aren't too many real nice restaurants in Greenville that offer good quality food with a nice quality establishment. This place has it both, and for a very good price!! Save room for desert too.. Best in Town!
