Amazing experience at Curl Lounge! The staff were so kind and welcoming, and they really listened to what I wanted. I absolutely love how my hair turned out—it looks beautiful and healthy. Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely be back!
1 - The stylist told me the wrong price and then she was annoyed that I only had enough for the price we agreed on. 2 - The stylist legit grabbed a huge chunk of hair and cut bangs straight across. I looked crazyyyyy. She kept insisting it looked fine when I looked absolutely awful. I had to go to another salon to have them fixed. I’m very very disappointed with my experience.
My son and daughter both have come for their first curly cuts at the Curl Lounge and had amazing experiences (with Mariela and Kezia respectively). They are very patient with children and also take the time to give tips and tricks to the parent for maintaining the curls. Even if it costs a bit more than a standard kids salon, it’s worth it for the care they take and the end result!
Love, love, love my experience and Betty! I had the curl glow up appointment with Betty and she was wonderful. She taught me how to get the best out of my curls through products and styling. The cut she gave me was exactly what I wanted from it. Highly recommend trying out the glow up experience if you’re struggling to understand your curls in any way. Lovely experience <3
I was disappointed with my experience. I came in for a deluxe silk press and specifically requested long layers with face-framing pieces. I also showed an inspiration photo and confirmed beforehand that the stylist was comfortable performing that type of cut. Unfortunately, the result was very different from what I asked for. Rather than long, blended layers, I left with much shorter layers throughout the crown, which created significantly more volume and a shape that resembles a shag cut.
