I had the most glorious afternoon at the Crossing to celebrate my best friend’s birthday. We pre-ordered a charcuterie board. We started in their cute small lounge with a fire and their staff generously treated us to mimosas. We then walked down to the river and hung out at the red Muskoka chairs before returning for our charcuterie board and cosmo cocktails and the most delicious chocolate bread pudding dessert in the living room. We had our wedding at The Crossing and stayed two nights with our guests. It exceeded our expectations in every way. The property is beautiful and tranquil. The food was delicious and the kitchen did a wonderful job accommodating our vegan guest. All of the staff were lovely and things went so smoothly that we had a completely relaxing and restorative time with our families. Thank you to all of the staff who made that possible. A secret gem close to Calgary. Beautiful location, cozy facility, awesome staff and amazing food! My wife and I snuck away to reconnect and this place was exactly what we needed. Our days were filled with relaxing, talking, hiking, recharging and eating. All the staff were amazing and they were very accommodating - hospitality at its finest. The food was amazing with lots of local items. Chef brought flair to everything. Already planning another trip. Recommending to everyone we meet.
Just an amazing weekend. The property is the absolute best the foothills have to offer. Hill side Walking trails, river side fire, and large patios surrounded by trees and lawns. The team were friendly, the food delicious and the nights peaceful. Highly recommend and I can't wait to stay again!
The location is between Canmore and Calgary, the location is a bit off the main road while easy to assess by car. The staff is very young and did not introduce us. The house is beautiful and would be great if there are better maintenance (eg. Our toilet lights are blinking when we open it) and mature staff. There are sure potential here to be explore!
