Update: Its June and yes, have started to see the uninvited guest again. The apartment is good at spraying routinely and will do extra areas as we ask to try to beat this. Must be in the building walls. We make sure to seal and store in the fridge, dishes go directly into dishwasher. It just is still happening. The office help is super nice and maintenance is friendly and fast. ROACH INFESTED nasty apartments. I fought with office many times over it. They were never treated. I was pretty much forced to stay there after getting a divorce and needing a place fast. I saved to move and got the heck out of there to an actual nice apartment. Constant water issues from being shut off. Pipes clogged. A/c had to be serviced more than I can count. If I could give The Rand at Lansdowne zero stars, I would. This place is an absolute nightmare. My fiancée, her family, and I moved in hoping for a decent place to live, but it was anything but. The cockroach infestation was horrendous—no matter how clean we kept our apartment, they were everywhere. Management was a revolving door, and every new person was just as useless as the last. Update: exterminators have been in, apartment has closed up all "area" the roaches may have crawled through under sinks, etc. It has been about a week since exterminator, and days since completing the "closing up" of areas. Two roaches seen and killed three days ago. None yesterday. The apartment management has been wonderful through all of this. Although the first couple of weeks were fine, and we were given what we needed for maintenance, etc. as we are new tenants....I have to write this for anyone considering this comple... read more
