Me and my 2 Grand children had the pleasure of dinning with the residents of Village on the green and folks i just felt compelled to shout out to the wonderful staff and residents, there where nothing but warm smiles and love in the air. The staff where not only warm and friendly but they all seamed to really be loving their jobs, we were just guest but we were treated like royalty the same as the residents. MY HUSBAND WENT TO THE CRAIG ON 6/30/23 AFTER STAY AT BSA FROM 6/21/23, TO THE WINDFLOWER FOR REHAB.. THEN ON 7/25/23 WENT TO BSA HOSPITAL AGAIN(BTW BSA NURSING WAS THE GREATEST). THEN I CHOSE A DIFFERENT REHAB THAT HE WENT FOR REHAB AGAIN & IT IS THE MOST "FABULOUS PLACE & STAFF WAS AWESOME", I WILL CHOOSE FOR ME OR MY HUSBAND, IF WE EVER HAVE TO GO FOR REHAB. My father was at Friendship Village for 4 years. He started in Independent Living, then moved to Assisted Living, then moved to Memory Care. Independent Living was a good experience … good food, nice resident interactions, personal trainers. Assisted Living was an OK experience. Memory care was a “poor” experience. FV staff seemed understaffed and undertrained. I became so concerned that I put together a 50-line-item spreadsheet and had twice-monthly calls with FV to ensure accountability and follow-up. When I was looking for a long term nursing facility for my mother-in-law I went to look at the Craig Windflower Nursing Facility I was told what the price was per day and decided this was where I wanted her to be. Signing the contracts I had to initial on being billed for added charges. I asked about that and was told that it is nothing like a few state requirements.
