The Crab Claw Restaurant

About this business

The Crab Claw Restaurant evolved from a clam shucking and crab business in the 1950s to a seafood eatery in June, 1965. Delectable fresh seafood has always been our hallmark and customers seek out our relaxed, causal setting within a stone's throw of the water. Known for our steamed Maryland blue crabs and other choice seafood, we also offer Delmarva fried chicken and beef among our entrees. Cold beer, cocktails and other beverages are available to enhance your meal.

I have to agree with the Reviews on here. When I was little My parents brought me here and all there was there was an aquarium. The Crabs are WAY overpriced. The service is not very good. It is a shame. Nice area but not worth the money We spent.

It's a nice place, I little pricey for me ,I live in southern Maryland were you can get the same big crabs at Port Tobacco Restaurant on Wednesday for $22.00 a doz, crab claw Saturday $78.00 a doz ,but I like St Michael's area, clean and safe.

Second time we have been here. Loved it. My wife loves the crabs. I had fantastic rockfish. So great to sit by the dock and have unpretentious food with a very varied mix of people. I see some criticism of staff. Well when we have been here its been extremely busy, and they did a excellent job. Fully recommend this as a must do Maryland experience.

Very disappointing. We ordered shrimp salad and the shrimp were small most likely made with frozen shrimp and did not have any old bay seasoning. Soft crab sandwich platter was also very disappointing. They need to step up their game and lower their prices!
