RecommendedDriving RI isn’t easy but it’s worth navigating the maze
Had a reservation at 445 on labor day. which us why we made it early figuring it may be busy. waited 45 min before seating. Then sat us on the bar side instead of dining room per our reservation. Manager said they messed up. Service slow. They did apologize and gave us 3 free apps which was nice, but waiting 45 min and having very slow service for "just okay" food is unacceptable. We had kids with us that were very hungry waiting so long and had to fill up on bread. won't go back.
Good place to go for drinks. Inside or outside bars are great. Valet people are nice. Waitstaff are nice. Bartenders are nice. Food is OK...not bad but not phenomenal either. Restaurant has nice views and little competition in the area, which is why it can get by without outstanding menu items. More than once have had a poor experience with the dinner. Last night our party waited 1 hr 15 minutes for the food to come out. “Kitchen was backed up.” Had to take meals to go so I could make it to work for 11pm. Very disappointed. ... read more
Food was delicious, sat at the bar, place was half full, staff was friendly but did wait a little over an hour for our food, but taste was great. Drinks were not so good. Ordered a mimosa at the inside bar and got a plastic cup of orange juice with ice a straw and a splash of champagne. The drink was confusing.
The mango and blueberry salad was amazing! I had scallops added, and it made for a perfect Sunday lunch. I will definitely be coming back here!
Stuffed mushrooms were very good and the Lobster Ravioli was lobster in every bite ...

Delicious dinner. We sat at the bar where there was a beautiful breeze and sunset. Kelsey was an awesome waitress making us feel welcome. This was our first time at The Cove.
